Become an integral part of a dynamic team of clinical pharmacists and technicians, providing care to adult patients from numerous service lines including trauma, critical care, neurology, cardiology, and general surgery at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center. This unique opportunity allows you to directly impact patient care by collaborating closely with providers, nurses, and patients. You will play a key role in evaluating inpatient medication orders, performing clinical consults in pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, and providing other drug related interventions that positively impact patient care and safety.
Our fast-paced, 365-day operation offers a day/evening (or 7 on 7 off evening) with rotating weekend shift schedules.
We seek candidates with prior experience in hospital pharmacy, residency training, or board certification, though we value a strong commitment to learning and growth. As a key team member, you will contribute to Penn State Health's mission of continuously improving patient health and well-being, staying at the forefront of evolving changes to hospital pharmacy and adapting to new regulatory standards that improve our patients' care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
+ Bachelor's degree or PharmD degree in pharmacy required.
+ Current PA Licensure to practice as a Pharmacist OR license eligibility required.
