    Salary: $20 / Hour

     

    Amergis Healthcare is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to support in a Orange County correctional setting or a Rehabilitation Hospital.

     

    Details

     

    + Setting: Correctional Setting or Rehabilitation Hospital

    + Location: Anaheim, Santa Ana

    + Schedule: AMs, PMS, Overnights

    + Pay: $24/hour (we offer weekly pay!)

    CNA Essential Responsibilities:

    + Basic Patient Care: Assisting inmates with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.

    + Vital Signs Monitoring: Measuring and recording vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.

    + Medical Documentation: Keeping accurate records of inmate health status, care provided, and any changes in condition.

    + Support for Medical Staff: Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or physicians, helping with medical procedures and patient care plans.

    + Inmate Interaction: Providing care with empathy and professionalism while maintaining safety and boundaries.

    + Security Awareness: Adhering to strict safety protocols, including escort procedures and contraband control.

    + Crisis Response: Being prepared to assist in medical emergencies or behavioral incidents.

    + Cultural Sensitivity: Interacting respectfully with inmates from diverse backgrounds and maintaining a nonjudgmental attitude

    CNA Qualifications:

    + BLS/CPR certified (or willing to obtain before start)

    + 1 year of correctional experience preferred or behavioral experience

    + CNA license
