Position Description
Serco is seeking a Sr. Principal Military Trainer – Mission Command Systems Training Lead to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Fort Leavenworth in Leavenworth, Kansas. This position plays a critical leadership role in the delivery and management of high-quality individual training and simulation support on Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS). This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.
In this role, you will:
+ Supervise a team of Individual Computer-Based Trainers and ensure delivery of instruction per approved Programs of Instruction (POIs).
+ Provide reach-back support for individual training staff located at spoke sites.
+ Ensure all MCIS are up to date with the latest software and all individual training equipment is maintained.
+ Manage course scheduling, cross-training, and professional development of team members.
+ Prepare and present MCIS briefings for Mission Command Training audiences.
+ Support simulation exercises with WARSIM and other systems.
+ Deliver over-the-shoulder MCIS support during exercises.
+ Assist in training delivery for all supported courses and audiences.
Qualifications
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of MCIS teaching experience, or Master’s degree with 8 years of experience.
+ Minimum of 5 years of Command Post Operations experience.
+ Active DoD Secret clearance.
+ Experience with training development analysis, writing POIs, and technical documentation.
+ Subject matter expertise in CPCE and MCIS integration in support of Mission Command Training.
+ In-depth knowledge of multiple MCIS including: CPCE, AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, GCCS-A, JADOCS, Command Web, Tactical Messaging, WAVE, and JBC-P.
+ Familiarity with simulation systems used in training environments: JLCCTC and DXTRS.
+ Willingness to obtain Network+ certification if required.
+ Ability to travel up to 25%.
+ Must be able to work onsite at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

+ Strong leadership and mentoring skills to manage training teams and programs.
+ Extensive experience delivering MCIS instruction and exercise support.
+ Proficiency in integrating systems and simulations for Army training applications.
Additional desired experience and skills:
+ Current Network+ certification.
