• Principal Military Trainer Sustainment Analyst

    Position Description

    Serco is seeking a Principal Military Trainer – Sustainment Analyst to support the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In this important role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in the Army’s Sustainment Warfighting Function and support Division and Corps-level simulation-driven training exercises for Warfighter and Mission Rehearsal operations.

    In this role, you will:

    + Collect and manage data pertaining to Sustainment Warfighting Function procedures, decisions, and orders during computer-assisted military training exercises.

    + Collaborate with military Observer Controller/Trainers (OC/Ts), analyze simulation data, and develop visual products to support After Action Reviews (AARs).

    + Develop and present products for MCT Workshops, In-Progress Reviews, and operational briefings.

    + Support pre-exercise planning efforts including scenario development, weekly planning meetings, site surveys, and coordination for planning conferences.

    + Monitor planning timelines and coordinate internal and external resources.

    + Maintain proficiency in simulations and AAR systems supporting U.S. Army training exercises.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED with 9 years of professional or military leadership experience; or

    + Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience; or

    + Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.

    + Completion of Military Education Level (MEL) 4 CGSC or equivalent (Warrant Officer or SGM level).

    + Familiarity with current Army Sustainment and Joint doctrine.

    + Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

    + Ability to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

    + Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    + Deep understanding of Army Sustainment doctrine and its application in training environments.

    + Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing military training exercises.

    + Proven ability to analyze and present data in support of Army training evaluations.

    Additional desired experience and skills:

    + Graduate degree.

    + Experience as a staff officer at Division, Corps, Army Service Component Command, or Theater Sustainment Command.

    + Prior experience in computer-assisted simulation training.

    + Experience as an Observer Coach/Trainer at an Army Combat Training Center (CTC).
