Overview

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day cleaning and maintenance operations within the assigned building to ensure service delivery meets contractual requirements and customer expectations. This role supports employee management, quality assurance, safety compliance, and operational efficiency within the designated site.

Pay: $45,500 - $64,500 Annually

Key Responsibilities

+ Coordinate and supervise daily janitorial operations at the assigned facility.

+ Ensure services are completed according to scope of work and quality standards.

+ Monitor inventory levels and request supplies and equipment as needed.

+ Perform regular inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety procedures.

+ Communicate regularly with the customer to address feedback, service issues, and special requests.

+ Support the implementation of safety initiatives and ensure team compliance with ABM and regulatory safety standards.

+ Provide training and daily direction to frontline staff to maintain productivity and efficiency.

+ Accurately complete and submit required reports, timekeeping records, and other operational paperwork.

+ Collaborate with the Area Manager on resolving staffing issues, schedule changes, or performance concerns.

+ Act as the on-site contact for team members and escalate concerns as needed to management.

+ Support and promote a positive team environment focused on service excellence and continuous improvement.

Supervisory Responsibilities

+ Supervise a team of cleaners or technicians within the assigned building.

+ Provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective actions when needed.

+ Ensure team members understand and follow site-specific procedures and company policies.

+ Support onboarding and training of new team members.

+ Maintain daily communication with the Area Manager regarding site updates, personnel, and client needs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

+ High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

+ At least 2 years of supervisory experience in janitorial, facilities, or service industry.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

+ Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.

+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

+ Previous Amazon experience is a plus.

+ Must be flexible to support both day and night shifts when needed.

Other Requirements

+ Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

+ May require travel between sites or working weekends, depending on operational needs.

+ Must be available for emergency response or urgent client needs as required.
