Job Description Summary
As the Sr. Staff Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for leading and delivering advanced data science and machine learning solutions across Defense & Systems Digital Technology (DT) projects. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models, optimizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Model (LLM) pipelines, and leveraging semantic technologies to enhance data integration and analytics. Collaborate across technical teams and cloud platforms to drive innovation, ensure technical rigor, and deliver customer value. Additionally, mentor colleagues, standardize analytics practices, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders while navigating complex and ambiguous environments.
Job Description
**Roles and Responsibilities** :
+ Contribute to the development of products and data delivery platforms with reusable components across teams that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
+ Lead the technical execution of a cloud migration factory, migrating multiple applications and data from on-prem data centers into the AWS cloud in a strict timeline.
+ Effectively monitor and control costs in the organization
+ Lead and coordinate the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction across the product portfolio or product line.
+ Analyze, design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
+ Review and/or analyze and develop architectural requirements at domain level within product portfolio or team.
+ Participates in the enterprise architecture domain enabling team.
+ Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support actives.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of **6** years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of **9** years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of **11** years of professional experience
+ Minimum 3 years of professional experience in or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or IT.
+ **Note:** Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Technical Expertise:
+ AWS Architect certification plus a minimum of four years of experience architecting solutions within AWS including cloud migrations/MGN, IAM, AWS Transfer Family, RDS, and Redshift.
+ Minimum of three years of experience architecting data platform services including data ingestion, storage, and export.
+ Minimum of three years of experience with data tools including Informatica and Spotfire.
+ Experience with B2B user authentication using providers such a Saviynt.
+ Experience architecting solutions integrated with the Palantir Foundry platform.
+ Experience leveraging AI to improve business process efficiency.
+ Experience with ServiceNow
+ Experience contributing within an Agile framework leveraging Rally for sprint management
+ Ability to consult product owners and customers on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level
+ Ability to Analyze, design, and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.
+ Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.
+ Knowledgeable of full range of solution catalog within a business unit and able to discuss overall solution at depth.
+ Experience sustaining operational stability through various life cycle phases (planning, implementation, steady state, de-commissioning); Ability to provision and budget via capital and operating.
+ Able to lead early-stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches and integrate with their legacy tech investments.
Business Acumen:
+ Working knowledge of security and compliance considerations around CMMC, export control, and allowed use/access for government/military data.
+ Experience working within the government and military customer space.
+ Adept at navigating the organizational matrix; understanding people's roles, can foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources and rally teammates.
+ Understand how internal and/or external business model works and facilitate active customer engagement
+ Able to articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer to achieve outcomes
+ Able to produce functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize, using presentation and storytelling concepts.
+ Possess extensive knowledge of full solution catalog within a business unit and proficiency in discussing each area at an advanced level.
+ Active practitioner and mentor of GE Aerospace Flightdeck principles including customer focus, standard work, action planning, and problem solving
Leadership:
+ Demonstrated working knowledge of internal organization
+ Foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources, rally teammates.
+ Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.
+ Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels
+ Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
+ Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadership
