PDS Tech is seeking a **Field Service Technician** to service **compressed air and vacuum systems** across a regional territory ( **~120 miles from Rocky Mount, NC, and Richmond, VA** ). You’ll play a crucial role in keeping industrial operations running smoothly while enjoying great pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair **compressed air and vacuum systems**

Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs

Program and troubleshoot **PLC-based** equipment controls

Provide top-tier customer service and technical support

Travel locally to assist clients and collaborate with fellow technicians

Maintain accurate service reports and documentation

What You Bring:

• Strong **mechanical and troubleshooting** skills

• Excellent **communication and customer service** abilities

• Ability to work **independently** and problem-solve on the go

• Basic computer proficiency for service reports and diagnostics

• Own **hand tools** (company-provided options available)

• **Valid driver’s license** with a clean record

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

**Mechanical aptitude** and service-based experience

**ASSE 6040 certification preferred** (but not required)

Ability to pass **background checks and drug screening**

**Refrigeration experience is a plus** but not mandatory
