The Director of Operations will be responsible to develop long-term operational strategies, working closely with senior management to meet company objectives of a multi-million-dollar global account(s) for many of the world’s most popular playing Card Games, Trading Card Games, and Board Game brands in the world! The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.
What you’ll do as a Director of Operations:
+ Daily oversight to include Operations Managers, Supervisors, Engineering, CAPEX and maintenance equipment.
+ Develop and monitor team goals and objectives, ensuring the integrity of inventory, logistics and production reporting transactions.
+ Demonstrates the ability to build and streamline and improve processes.
+ Develop and monitor team goals and objectives, creating an atmosphere of accountability and success so goals and objectives are achieved/exceeded.
+ Develops the operations production plan to maintain and grow current customer base in alignment with short- and long-term strategic goals that supports Sustainable Profitable Growth.
+ Continually elevates the measurement system used to identify process improvements that enhance the capability for of the operations. Evaluates data and manages change that are the highest priority and deliver the most ROI for the operation. Works collaboratively with teams to identify and analyses gaps between current and desired state.
+ Manages the financial metrics for the operation assigned, including but not limited to establishing annual budgets, reviewing and analyzing financial statements and data, production and operations report.
+ Champions the implementation of LEAN methodologies and is accountable for training and developing LEAN techniques to increase employee engagement, while maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and waste elimination.
+ Collaborates with business partners to streamline processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and quality activities are part of the organizational culture.
We’re looking for a Director of Operations with:
+ Ten (10) years Operations and/or Engineering experience in fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment, including a minimum of five (5) years in Management; Materials management is a plus.
+ Undergraduate degree in Management/Business Administration/Engineering. Master’s degree preferred
+ Experience working in a matrix organization is a plus
+ Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a high performing team in a dynamic work environment
+ Proven success at leading and implementing the development of small and large-scale customer projects plans through successful execution resulting in sustainable profitable growth

Physical requirements and working conditions:
Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:
+ Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues
+ Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead
+ Perform sedentary work on various computer systems
+ This Director of Operations position is located on-site in our Dallas facility
