This role demands expertise in diagnosing,repairing,andmaintainingdieselenginesacrossvariousvehiclesandequipment.AsaHeavy Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
•Diagnose and accurately perform all phases of vehicle repairs
•Remove, clean, repair, reinstall and adjust vehicle components:
* Engine repair and diagnosis
* Engine emission components (State certification)
* Driveline components
* Electrical/ electronic components
* Brakes/ suspension/ steering/ exhaust
* Cab/ chassis
* Hydraulics
* Various Scan tool proficient
•Assist Technician I and Technician II in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
•Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
•Ensure work orders are properly completed
•Select appropriate course of action for repairs
•Evaluate completed work prior to release
•Ensure safe use of power and hand-held tools
•Perform road calls and emergency services as necessary
•Move vehicles safely between job and work area
•Communicate professionally with customers, team members and supervisors
•Actively participate in safety or educational training as required
•Continuous ASE/ EVT re-certification is required to remain in job classification

Qualifications:
•3 yearsofexperience asa Heavy Technician.
•Candidates must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
•ASEcertificationsrequired;ASEcertificationprogramprovided
•Mechanic’sToolSet
•Mustbe able toworkshifts orflexible workschedulesasneeded.
•SubjecttoaDOTdrugtestingandphysicalifapplicable.DOTRegulation49CFRPart40doesnot authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
PhysicalRequirements:
Theessentialfunctions ofthispositionrequiretheabilityto:
•Workoutsideinvaryingtemperature,weather,andhumidityconditions-100%ofthejobisperformed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
•Sitforextendedperiods (upto6–8hours perday);frequentlywalkforlongdistances andonpossible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
•Pushandpullobjectsupto 50pounds,occasionallythroughouttheworkday;liftmaterialweighingupto 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
•Withstandheavytrafficareaswhileperformingthedutiesofthejob;tolerateexposuretoconsiderable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
