    Job Description:

    Responsibilities:

    - Partner with Engineering and Operations to support the installation, operation, administration and integration of Macro Cell Site RAN equipment into the regional virtual network element hosts, ensuring network integrity and quality.

     

    - Provide field Technicians with Remote Configuration and Test support during troubleshooting events.

     

    - Support "in-service" network system reconfigurations. Troubleshooting and coordinating multiple vendor systems to ensure minimal downtime

     

    - These networks can include, but are not limited to Nokia vRAN, Samsung vRAN, Ericsson vRAN, Corning virtual solutions, WindRiver Client and ZT subcloud far edge controllers

    MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

    - Associate’s degree or three or more years of work experience.

     

    - Three or more years of relevant work experience in data networking protocols

     

    - Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed – possible after hours and possible weekend support as needed

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    - A four-year technical degree.

     

    - Certifications such as CCENT, CCNA or CCNP.

     

    - Experience in at least one of the following areas: Samsung/Nokia vCUs and vDUs.

     

    - Knowledge of data networking protocols including TCP/IP, OSI, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, BFD, SIP and other LAN/WAN protocols.

     

    - Knowledge of data transmission facilities such as 1G and 10G native Ethernet and Ethernet Backhaul.

     

    - Good Programming and computer skills with emphasis on applications.

     

    - Engineer leader of a team in charge of vRAN and Far Edge application upgrades, troubleshooting and assisting with growth of the network.

     

    - Experience in Kubernetes, Openstack, Windriver, and Linux.

     

    - Experience in scripting and automation skills.

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

    - Associate’s degree or three or more years of work experience.
