The Value Stream Manager is responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and overall operations of the Thick Film Value Stream.
This position reports to the Sr. Operations Manager and is part of the Operations Team located in New Brighton, MN and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Responsible for achieving yearly Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity targets through effective and efficient Daily Management and KPI action plan development and leadership.
+ Build a Winning Team: Perform supervisory activities including recruitment, selection, training, development, coaching and administering performance and compensation reviews for direct reports. Make recommendations for direct labor staffing based on current capacity and future growth.
+ Support long-term plans and objectives to meet future manufacturing requirements including specific capital deployment projects, risk mitigation and cost savings initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance of manufacturing procedures and methods with FDA, GMP, ISO, and QA/QC medical, state and local regulatory agencies.
+ Promote and lead the utilization of Danaher Business System (DBS) tools & lean concepts to improve manufacturability, productivity, yield, cost, process variation and customer quality.
The essential requirements of the job include
+ Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
+ Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with people management responsibility
+ Proven understanding and track record of leveraging any of Lean, Six Sigma, Toyota Production system, and/or DBS tools to drive improvement.
+ Ability to manage/determine priorities and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ Competent in use of relevant computer systems including SAP and Microsoft office.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Degree field in in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related STEM field
+ Scheduling, planning, or related supply chain role
+ Working for a global medical device organization with knowledge of GMP in a Biotech environment

The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $135,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
