    Job Description

    Provides accurate and efficient outpatient, inpatient, ambulatory surgery and ER registrations. Entering complete demographics and insurance information into the computer system. Confirms insurance data by copying insurance cards and through online insurance benefit verifications to assure payment to the facility. Obtains necessary signatures and routes patient to appropriate service areas. Collects co-pays when appropriate.

     

    Education And Credentials

     

    High School graduate or equivalent.

    Experience

    Computer data entry with insurance background and customer service preferred. Knowledge of computers and typing ability; excellent oral communications and customer service skills; able to work in both a team environment and independently.
