Job Description:

*** The **Concrete Finisher** must be willing to go to **Kwajalein Island, Marshall Islands** on a Long-Term Assignment Agreement. This position is not a remote opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing:

+ Placing forms that hold concrete to ensure the required depth and pitch is achieved

+ Monitoring the effect heat, wind, and cold have on curing concrete to ensure high-quality results

+ Removing edges on expansion joints and sides

+ Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete

+ Polishing surfaces using smoothing materials, abrasive tools, and surfacing machines

+ Aligning forms for sidewalks, curbs, and gutters

+ Waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces

+ Compacting materials using power vibrators to create leveled bases

+ Finishing concrete surfaces with rough or smooth patterns depending on the customer's preference

+ Signaling truck drivers and moving chutes to facilitate pouring concrete

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

+ Must possess valid Concrete Finisher Certification from ACI

+ High school diploma or General Education Degree is preferred

+ 5+ years minimum of related concrete and 10+ construction experience and/or training to include ACI certification

+ Valid US state driver’s license

+ Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required

+ Must be willing to work 6 days a week according to approved schedule

+ Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction

+ Ability to read, write, and do basic mathematical calculations

+ Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

+ Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl

+ Able to work in all weather conditions

+ Current US Passport

Salary Range: $41.68 - $72.93
