+ Compensation Range: $ 85,000-100,000 /year
The Business Analyst will gather, review and interpret data across various functions within the company. The Business Analyst is responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A), analyzing and modeling business processes, developing insights, and communicating improvement opportunities to senior management. The Business Analyst will also assist in the evaluation of new initiatives (programs, locations, acquisitions). The Business Analyst will be assigned specific operational improvement projects and is expected to deliver results that will make the organization more effective.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Proven ability to meet or exceed established goals in a competitive environment
+ Proven skills in conducting analyses and interpreting related data
+ Excellent problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize a heavy workload under pressure and competing assignments
+ Ability to work independently, meet critical deadlines and targets and demonstrate excellent follow up skills
Credentials and Experience:
+ D egree required in related technical fields (e.g., accounting, finance, business analysis/analytics, and/or marketing); Bachelors or M asters degree preferred
+ 3+ years of associated work experience
+ Database management and maintenance skills
+ Excellent working knowledge of Excel , PowerPoint and Google Sheets
+ Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) experience a strong plus
+ CampusVue software experience a strong plus
+ Detailed analytical abilities
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities and Duties:
+ Perform financial analysis, scope projects and work closely with management to prioritize deliverables and improve business functions.
+ Support reporting requirements within various departments including financial reporting , marketing, financial aid/student accounts, HR/Payroll, and compliance.
+ Work closely with the Marketing Team to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, marketing expenses and related ROI.
+ Identify operating trends utilizing real data extracted from various databases and interpret, compile, analyze and report findings
+ Develop a comprehensive business management improvement plan by studying business functions and trends, gathering information, evaluating outcomes and translating complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior management
+ Support key initiatives by providing financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI assessments
+ Other related duties as assigned.

+ Flexible hours which may include evenings, weekends
