    Sales Operations Coordinator

     

    Sheraton Universal, a premier 466-room Marriott Full-Service Hotel featuring 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sales Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing team. This position will provide critical administrative and operational support to our Group Sales Managers, ensuring efficient execution of sales processes, timely communication with clients, and seamless coordination across departments.

     

    What will you do?

     

    + Provide daily administrative support to the group sales team, including managing calendars, processing contracts, and preparing client proposals and presentations.

    + Maintain accurate and up-to-date group account records in Marriott’s systems (e.g., CI/TY, Salesforce, OneSource).

    + Assist in drafting and routing Group Sales Agreements, BEOs, addendums, and internal communication forms.

    + Coordinate and support pre- and post-conference meetings, site visits, and client entertainment arrangements.

    + Track leads, opportunities, and definite bookings; generate regular sales reports and dashboards for leadership review.

    + Respond to inquiries, provide information to internal stakeholders, and liaise with hotel departments to ensure group needs are understood and executed.

    + Support RFP responses and assist in assembling marketing collateral, sales kits, and promotional materials.

    + Maintain inventory of sales office supplies and collateral; manage shipping and receiving materials for trade shows and client events.

    + Participate in Marriott brand initiatives and uphold all company and brand standards in customer service and communication.

    About You:

    + 2 years of hospitality experience required.

    + Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Marriott systems preferred (CI/TY, OneSource, MGS, Salesforce).

    + Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    + High level of attention to detail and a proactive, service-focused attitude.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.

    + Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment efficiently.

    + Occasional reaching, bending, and light physical tasks as required.
