Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Solutions Analyst to join one of our large Oil and Gas clients here in Houston, TX on a Long-term contract. We are a seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Analyst to join the Information Systems team responsible for financial applications. This role is vital in enhancing and supporting the accounts payable systems and applications, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of internal and external users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and accounting processes, excellent analytical skills, and experience with technologies such as a DB2, Oracle SQL, SingleStore, WPF, React, and iOS. The ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential. This is a fully onsite position, with pay starting at $63/hr.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a solutions analyst or similar role, with a focus on accounts payable/accounting systems required

- Strong understanding of oil and gas accounting processes and related systems preferred. Familiarity with oil and gas industry is a must have.

- Working knowledge of query/reporting tools such as TOAD, Business Objects, Spotfire, and PowerBI required

- Experience with Oracle SQL, memSQL, WPF, React, and iOS app development preferred.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft products: Word/Excel/PowerPoint

- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Experience with SOX controls is a plus

- Experience with QC/QA testing procedures a plus

- Experience with Python, Elasticsearch, and/or DB2 a plus null
