Job Summary and Qualifications

The **Director Imaging** organizes, develops and defines the administrative and technical functions of the department. The Director also ensures that protocol is carried out as given by the Medical Director and/or his designee. Other duties including being responsible for budgets, job descriptions, evaluations and any administrative directives needed for the ideal operation of the Medical Imaging Department, ensuring compliance of all hospital and departmental regulations, and acts upon non-compliance, acting as a role model for the department, and assuming direct responsibility for the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient services by technical/non-technical personnel. The Director assures the Radiation Protection Program including ALARA, as low as reasonably achievable for patients, physicians, and personnel, is followed and supports all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to DHEC, Joint Commission, ACR, and any internal company agencies.

What qualifications you will need:

**A.** **Licensure/Certification/Registration:** ARRT or NMTCB and SCRQSA and BLS required

**B.** **Education:** Graduate of an AMA approved school for Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine with Registration in either modality required

**C.** **Experience:** 3+ years of supervisory experience required.
