Description We are looking for an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for a dedicated individual with a strong background in civil litigation and personal injury law. In this role, you will oversee cases from pre-litigation through trial, working collaboratively with a skilled team to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases, from initial stages through trial.

• Collaborate with pre-litigation paralegals to resolve cases, including settling disputes prior to filing suits.

• Conduct thorough legal research and draft essential documents, including pleadings and motions.

• Oversee case management tasks, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met efficiently.

• Utilize case management software, such as FileVine, to track and organize case progress.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

• Prepare and review legal briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.

• Advise clients on legal strategies and potential outcomes related to personal injury and medical malpractice cases.

• Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all case-related activities. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, including personal injury and medical malpractice.

• Proficiency in using case management and document management software, such as FileVine and Adobe Acrobat.

• Strong legal research, drafting, and case management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to handle cases independently from pre-litigation to trial.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-focused approach.

• Familiarity with claim administration, complaint handling, and briefing processes.

• Knowledge of relevant legal procedures and regulations surrounding civil litigation.

• A valid license to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
