    Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in HORNELL, New York, 14843-1529, United States. This role involves handling front desk operations and maintaining effective communication channels in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Efficiently process and direct all incoming calls, ensuring they are transferred to the appropriate individuals.

    • Welcome visitors, verify their identification, issue badges, and guide them as required.

    • Keep an updated record of staff schedules and front desk procedures.

    • Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    • Draft and type documents and case notes as required.

    • Keep the reception area organized and ensure important information is communicated effectively to staff covering during breaks.

    • Track incoming and outgoing documents, maintaining a log for reference.

    • Ensure all incoming mail and documents are date stamped.

    • Utilize communication platforms such as Zoom and TEAMS effectively.

    • Preserve the confidentiality of documents and keep them out of sight from visitors.

    • Learn and use the case management system for information lookup and input. Requirements • Exceptional customer service skills and a detail-oriented demeanor.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Proven experience answering inbound calls in a detail-oriented manner.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.

    • Familiarity with pricing procedures and practices.

    • Previous experience fulfilling receptionist duties.

    • Fast and accurate typing skills.

    • Experience with financial notes and understanding of confidentiality practices.

    • Advanced communication skills to answer and handle queries efficiently.

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

    • Proficiency in using Zoom for virtual meetings and communication.

    • Experience in case management, preferably in a similar role.

    • Ability to efficiently transfer calls to the appropriate parties.

    • Welcoming visitors and directing them to the appropriate department or individual.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Technologies.
