Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in San Jose, California. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing multi-entity accounting operations and a strong background in affordable housing and partnership accounting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels at financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts, to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Perform detailed journal entries and adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.

• Oversee accounting operations for multiple entities, ensuring consistent standards and processes.

• Collaborate on partnership accounting tasks, including financial tracking and reporting.

• Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements and reports to ensure they align with regulatory requirements.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze complex financial data and generate actionable insights.

• Apply expertise in affordable housing accounting, including Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) compliance.

• Support audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors when required. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on multi-entity operations.

• Proficiency in account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries and month-end close processes.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Experience with affordable housing accounting, particularly Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH).

• Familiarity with partnership accounting and financial tracking.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
