    Description

    This Staff Accountant position is designed for experienced professionals ready to take ownership of the accounting responsibilities in a small-to-medium-sized organization. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a versatile role that directly impacts the company’s financial success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and collections processes.

    + Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly to ensure accuracy.

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes through journal entries and adjustments.

    + Ensure compliance with tax filing requirements, including CA Sales Tax and other related filings.

    + Support payroll functions and ensure accurate disbursement of employee wages.

    + Prepare financial reports and provide insights for management decision-making.

    Requirements

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.

    + 2–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.

    + Proficiency with QuickBooks is required.

    + Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation procedures.

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
