    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    This person will be responsible for assisting in the management and operation of the hotel kitchens in a fast-paced, high volume hotel and according to Omni standards. This person w ould be a leader in the Culinary Department helping to create a great atmosphere for all employees.

     

    + Focus on production of very fast-paced culinary banquet operation in a high volume hotel

    + Responsible for efficient and effective operation of the Restaurant kitchen and food production outlets

    + Ordering and inventory maintenance of all kitchen produce, meats and supplies

    + Perform daily administrative tasks such as documentation, menu revision/fabrication, staff scheduling and email correspondence

    + Coach & mentor line staff

    + Participate in F&B and management meetings

    Qualifications

    + Candidate should be organized and familiar with chef administrative duties such as payroll, menu design, etc.

    + Candidate should have experience managing employees in a very busy atmosphere.

    + 2-3 years Culinary management experience in a Hotel with high volume banquets is required.

    + Must be able to work flexible hours and a variety of different shifts including AM, PM, Weekends, Holidays.
