    Senior Sales Representative-Case Ready

     

    Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The JBS Value Added/Case Ready team is seeking a Senior Sales Representative to join our team located in Greeley, CO.

    Responsibilities:

    + Proactively find new sales leads for the Value Added/Case Ready team.

    + Lead the management and growth of existing value-added and case-ready accounts, while proactively identifying opportunities for future expansion.

    + Oversee all aspects of customer activity including order patterns, product mix, volume forecasting, pricing strategy, claims resolution, and accounts receivable oversight.

    + Leverage deep product and market expertise to drive strategic sales initiatives and maximize account profitability.

    + Identify and assess customer needs, aligning innovative products and tailored programs to support client-specific objectives and long-term growth.

    + Maintain a comprehensive understanding of each customer’s organizational structure, business model, and merchandising strategies to enhance alignment and collaboration.

    + Partner closely with field sales teams to penetrate new markets and secure high-value account wins.

    + Build and nurture multi-functional relationships within customer organizations, engaging stakeholders across purchasing, marketing, supply chain, quality assurance, and R&D.

    + Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and perform additional responsibilities as required to support business objectives.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 5 or more years of previous protein sales experience – value added/case ready experience preferred.

    + BS/BA degree in Animal Science, Business or something similar preferred.

    + Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

    + Detail Oriented.

    + Willing to travel 5-7 times per year

    + Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office.

    + Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

    + As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

    The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

    + Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

    + PaidTime Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

    + 401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

    + Base salaryrange of$130,000-$150,000;and

    + Incentive Pay:This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
