Overview
Panasonic is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to assist the sales team in growing sales and increasing alignment between the SMT/Software sales organization and main office resources. Sales Support Specialist will support the Regional Sales Managers in the field by providing product information, pricing, profit analysis for quotation and order process documents.

Job Summary/Basic Function** **:
Monitor team activities to assure compliance with all policies, along with timely and accurate processing of GP analysis, Quote assistance, Order Package, Communications with factories, striving to exceed customer satisfaction. Ability to support others through knowledge of the overall process.
Supervision
+ Supervise and support Inside sales team members through direct communication as well as monitoring of reports to assure compliance and accuracy. When required, make corrections and determine individual or team training needs. Monitor member Goals/Objectives and address throughout the year to support success of the team and organization. Manage team; timecards, approving time off, hiring, partnering with HR on employment decisions (performance, promotions etc.)
+ Evaluate each team member’s skill, knowledge and adoptability and assign each role as the team including item 2 and support for success.
Sales Support
+ Responsible for ISP forecast report, Weekly inventory report, Stock analysis report, etc. for management.
+ Maintain NEXUS system data periodically to ensure internal forecast and provide factory sales group for their forecast as streamline process.
+ Monitor equipment stock periodically to make sure it supports forecasted sales, when necessary to replenish stock, prepare stock analysis report to management to review.
+ Prepare RFA (Request of Approval) in the system for special payment terms, necessary equipment/parts pre-order, and consignment, etc.
+ Maintain all equipment order information in shared drive for service, PMO and sales teams.
+ Support engineering and development teams for required equipment spec/cost and communicate with factory for necessary development and trial licenses, etc.
+ Prepare sales commission document (Memorandum on commission) between other sales office(s) and communicate with accounting group.
+ Communicate factory’s machine sales stakeholder for solutions and request escalation when necessary.
+ Provide support for management, Regional Sales Managers including cost and GP analysis information, SAP quotations, product information and other requests.
+ Inform newly introduced equipment and their price and prepare GP analysis format in shared drive.
+ Conduct support meetings with other groups to assure the sharing of order status information, including order review meeting, monitor and request order/shipment status, confirmation of system accuracy for order processing.
Other duties
+ Support all system changes through knowledge transfer, collaboration, demonstrations, testing, to be successful. Make suggestions and implement towards continuous improvement to ensure the team is as efficient as possible.
What You'll Bring:
Education and Experience:
+ BS/BA Degree in Business Management/Sales area or equivalent experience preferred.
+ Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
Key Competencies
+ Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills required.
+ Japanese language for oral and written required for daily communication with overseas contacts required
+ Supervise team members assuring they are supported for success.
+ Must be proactive and collaborative.
+ Participate in all required training and development.
+ Ensure full compliance with all corporate policies, internal controls.
+ Insures protection of company assets in all areas through front line knowledge and experience.

Salary Range
$70,000 –$85,000 + Bonus REQ-151564
