    **Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital** is currently seeking a Rehab Therapy Manager to join their collaborative therapy team. The Therapy Manager serves as a mentor to the therapy team and plays a key role in developing and growing their staff.     Responsibilities

    Position Summary

    Possesses a highly specialized knowledge base and skills to facilitate patient treatment and staff development. Communicates clinical issues, as they relate to service or program development, to the DOR. Promotes clinical development, competency and expertise in staff to maximize patient outcomes. Assists with daily operational management tasks as directed by the DOR. Effectively communicates on multiple levels.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education & Experience (Including Licenses)

    1. Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist required.

    2. For Speech Discipline: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association required.

    3. A minimum of three (3) years experience as a therapist with leadership experience preferred.

    4. Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
