    **Adecco** is seeking a Route Driver with Food for Good, you will play a vital role in delivering nutritious meals to children in the Austin community. This position involves daily operation of a delivery vehicle, working collaboratively with non-profit partners, managing inventory, ensuring food and vehicle safety, and engaging positively with the community to maximize program reach. You will be the face of Food for Good, directly contributing to the well-being of children by providing essential meals..

    + **Pay Rate** : $20.00 /Hr

    + **Location:** Austin, TX

    + **Shift** : Mon-Fri 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

    + **Type:** Temp

    Responsibilities:

    + Collaborate with non-profit partners for accurate meal distribution tracking.

    + Represent the program positively, building trust with community members to maximize reach.

    + Interact with children and serve meals at delivery sites.

    + Proactively address challenges to ensure consistent meal delivery.

    + Manage daily inventory, including checking quantities and temperatures.

    + Accurately record meals served and report discrepancies.

    + Follow safe food handling and temperature control procedures.

    + Safely operate a delivery truck to 10-14 daily community locations.

    + Conduct vehicle pre- and post-trip inspections and report any issues.

    **Minimum Requirements** :

    + High School diploma or equivalent.

    + Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (past 3 years).

    + Experience in physically demanding roles (e.g., warehouse) with the ability to lift 20-30 lbs repeatedly (up to 40 lbs occasionally).

    + Passion for working with children and community service.

    Preferred:

    + Delivery experience.

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
