Pay Range:

$62,300.00 - $102,350.00

Position Summary:

Bio-Techne is currently seeking to fill the role of a Senior Research Associate – CGT Solutions Immune Cell Therapy. The Senior Research Associate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the design and development of novel products and applications used in cell and gene therapy workflows. The Senior Research Associate will lead projects, and work with team members to troubleshoot problems and ensure on-time delivery. Desirable skills and techniques include immune cell culture, flow cytometry, immunoassay, bioassays, and data analytics. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual, with a proven ability to communicate both written and orally, to join our Immune Cell Therapy team.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design and perform experiments for the development and release of new products or workflows aimed at the cell and gene therapy field.

+ Contribute to the development of scientific content including conference presentations, publications, application notes and other Sales and Marketing efforts to support and promote Bio-Techne’s cell and gene therapy product offerings and services.

+ Independently lead projects of medium to large scope and moderate to high complexity and troubleshoot problems when they arise with minimal assistance.

+ Independently analyze data and prepare reports to draw conclusions and determine the next steps for projects.

+ Communicate project progress effectively in written and verbal formats.

+ Educate, train and offer scientific guidance to both team members and customers.

+ Maintain accurate experimental records and assist in the generation of protocols for Manufacturing and Quality Control SOPs for RUO and GMP products.

+ Able to tailor new process improvements within CGT and across departments to align with business goals.

+ Independently survey literature and communicate with other teams to keep up with trends in the fields of immune cell therapy to identify opportunities for products or applications.

+ Proactively seek and maintain collaborations across functional groups to progress project.

+ Perform general laboratory maintenance and cleaning, including laboratory equipment. Maintain laboratory supplies.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.

Desired Qualification and Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or Master’s degree 2+ years of relevant experience in Biology, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering or related field

+ 2+ years experience working in a regulated environment, such as ISO13485, highly preferred

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both oral and written

+ Highly organized and detail oriented to successfully manage concurrent projects in a faced-paced environment.

+ Customer education and/or support experience

+ Flexible and work independently and in a collaborative team environment

+ Self-motivated, action and results driven
