    Role and Scope of Position:

    This position provides high\-level, diversified Executive support to assist and/or relieve the respective Senior Executive of complex details\.  Responsible for providing a variety of secretarial and Executive support duties and for ensuring the efficient organization and operation for the Senior Executive\.  Works independently to perform daily office activities and procedures \(office supplies/services, budget monitoring and control, record\-keeping systems, incoming correspondence, etc\.\) to ensure a smooth office atmosphere\.  Individual must be a highly trusted partner responsible for exercising confidentiality, tact and diplomacy\.

     

    2\. Essential Functions:

     

    + Provides confidential and non\-routine Executive support to the Senior Executive:

    + Collects information,researchesissues, and analyzes data and prepares reports

    + Makes and implements routine decisions for the Senior Executive within defined and established limits

    + Maintains Senior Executive’s schedule and calendar:

    + Arranges meetings, appointments, and travel; controls calendarby proactively managing executives’schedules\.

    + Screens and prioritizes requests for executive’s time

    + Takes meeting minutes at executive staff meetings and independently follows\-up on assigned action items

    + Coordinates complex and often sensitive activities among various parties;maintainstotal confidentiality

    + Manages telephone, written correspondence, and personal contact with the Executive bymaintainingcurrent awareness of priorities and personal preferences:

    + Prioritizes items for personal review and response

    + Reviews,extractsand summarizes lengthy correspondence and documents

    + Responds to mail and personal contacts on own initiative \(within guidelinesestablishedby the Senior Executive\)\. Initiates,preparesand distributes a variety of internal correspondence\.

    + Maintains records to ensuretimelyaction or follow\-up

    + Receives,screensand directs incoming calls, visitors,mailand email

    + Participates in the planning,schedulingand conducting of off\-site executive\-level meetings

    + Participates in the development,enhancementand final editing of presentations

    + Ensures the effective functioning of the Office:

    + Establishes andmaintainsuniform procedures \(correspondence, information flow\)

    + Authorizesexpensesand invoicesand manages executive accounts as directed\.  Assembles and completes expense reports and other administrative assignments

    + Contributes to the organization’s success by providing efficient, high quality customer service, to all internal and external constituents

    + Participates in the development and implementation of secretarial standards,policiesand practices for Eversource

    + Works collaborativelyand develops strong working partnershipswith other Operating Company presidents’ Executiveassistants

    + **Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:**

    _Technical Knowledge/Skills_ :

    + Demonstrates a record of high\-performance standards and strong organizational skills

    + Excellent interpersonal and oral and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to work independently

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and operate with poise and

    + Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Programs \(Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc\.\)

    _Education/ Experience:_

    + High School Diploma with advanced business school/secretarial training or equivalent

    + Associate degree preferred

    _Experience_ :

    + Minimum of seven \(7\) years demonstrated executive secretarial experience or equivalent\.

    _Licenses & Certifications:_

    + Certification in secretarial science preferred

    Working Conditions:

    + Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required\.

    + Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary\.

    $80,550\.00\-$89,500\.00
