    Duties and Responsibilities

     

    As an MS Business Consultant I, you will work closely with the Operations Services Manager and the Operations and Manangement Consultant Manager. MS Business Consultant I will work independently creating, monitoring, analyzing and updating the procedures, policies, forms and other communications for Motorist Services and the Motorist Modernization projects. Responsible for independently researching laws, policies and procedures, analyzing legislative bills, researching correspondence and drafting responses, researching questions from tax collectors and other customers and providing responses, and preparing reports as required. The MS Business Consultant I will also assist in the development of related web content.

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

     

    + Knowledge of grammar and writing principles.

    + Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite programs.

    + Ability to research and respond to inquiries using resources such as Florida Statutes and department policy and procedures.

    + Ability to remain tactful when working with other and dealing with deadline driven assignments.

    + Ability to research, analyze, and resolve customer inquiries.

    + Ability to engage people at various organizational levels for the purposes of planning, problem solving, or issue resolution.

    + Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and task simultaneously.
