    This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.

    What you´ll do

    + Develops and executes global key account strategy (short-/mid and long term) aligned with the SBU business strategy. Allocates, directs and collaborates with internal resources to execute account strategy.

    + Leads, coaches and develops the global and regional Key Account team to create a high performing sales culture.

    + Delivers sales project pipeline and optimizes sales mix to achieve/overachieve sales targets.

    + Analyzes financial KPIs and proactively steers financial performance of key account business including defining account-specific pricing actions and leading global/regional negotiations.

    + Manages and updates a joint innovation roadmap with customers and develops unique business model to drive growth, customer approvals and pushes upstream solution selling.

    + Establishes and shares customer intelligence with stakeholders.

    + Develops sustainable strong executive and cross-functional relationships.

    + Ensures correct manufacturing footprint and CAPEX investments are made to support focus segment growth.

    + Investigates M&A targets and develops and executes M&A strategy for focus segment.

    What makes you a good fit

    + Bachelor of Science in a technical or business discipline is required, MBA preferred.

    + 5+ years of experience with global account management of Automotive OEMs with 10+ years of relevant account management experience in the automotive industry with a focus on technical and solution sales is required.

    + At least 7+ years of experience managing a dynamic sales focused team.

    + Proven team lead with track record in change management and developing an encouraging and highly performing (sales) culture.

    + Demonstrated success in the development and execution of strategic initiatives resulting in sales growth.

    + Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

    + Fast, agile learner versatile in crisis management.

    + Strong financial acumen incl. sales forecasting.

    + Familiarity with CRM software usage and digital tools.

    + Regular travel (predominantly United States/Mexico and Canada but also global) – approximately 40%.

    + Able and willing to work a hybrid set up with a 60/40 spilt between office/home

    The salary for this role is $200,000.00 - $230,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
