    Salary Range: $18.00 per hour

    About the Position:

    The Park Ranger provides general security for Township parks, patrols for damage to property or

    equipment, and monitors use and enforces township park ordinances. The position also entails managing

    environmental park programs, park related maintenance, community outreach, and is responsible for the

    general safety / wellbeing of the public as well as providing visitor information and education.

    This is a part-time position which includes shared responsibility for weekends, early morning and evening

    hours. Applicants must have the ability to work independently.

    Requirements:

    • HS Diploma or GED

    • Experience in parks, recreation, environmental education, or related field including security, military

    • or law enforcement background

    • Experience in community relations and/or working with the public

    • First Aid and CPR certification must be obtained if not already certified

    • Valid driver’s license (A Motor Vehicle Abstract will be requested)

    • Must successfully complete background check and drug screen prior to appointment
