Our Corporate office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is now hiring a Director of IT Salesforce to help us bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Baton Rouge, LA, and the surrounding areas.
The Director of IT Salesforce will lead the overall strategy, growth, and enablement of the Salesforce platform to deliver key business outcomes and deliverables. The role in partnership with multiple stakeholders will be responsible for the full lifecycle of platform design, execution, governance, and continuous improvement to support Sales, CPQ integration, and cross-functional operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong balance of business acumen, deep Salesforce
platform expertise, and proven experience managing teams and technology initiatives at enterprise scale.

What we’re looking for in YOU:
+ Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions through data-driven decision making.
+ Exceptional communication and relationship management skills with demonstrated success collaborating across organizational boundaries and diverse stakeholder groups.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Strong project management capabilities with proven track record of independently driving complex technical initiatives from conception to successful implementation.
+ Experience implementing Salesforce development best practices, including proper governance, release management, and quality assurance methodologies.
+ Strong understanding of service-based architecture and data synchronization principles
Education and experience:
+ Required:
+ 5+ years of relevant experience in Salesforce administration, implementation, and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing enterprise-scale CRM implementations.
+ Experience with MSFT platforms required.
+ Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including declarative automation (Flow), Apex, Lightning Web Components, and API integrations. Knowledge of the following technical languages and concepts required: C#, MS SQL Server, Object oriented development, Service based architecture, Test driven development, Web development - HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (such as JQuery, ExtJS, Sencha or similar), Asp.Net MVC, Mobile web development is a plus.
+ Strong experience with enterprise system integration, particularly between Salesforce and ERP systems
+ Working knowledge of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Preferred:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field.
+ Salesforce certifications: Admin, Platform Developer, or equivalent highly preferred.
A day in the life:
Strategic Leadership & Program Ownership
+ Lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of a net-new Salesforce org implementation, including data migration, security modeling, and system design.
+ Serve as the Salesforce platform owner and strategic advisor, aligning enterprise CRM investments with executive priorities and business goals.
+ Direct Salesforce efforts for Lamar’s end-to-end sales transformation initiative, ensuring integration with Oracle CPQ and ERP systems to deliver a unified sales ecosystem.
Team & Vendor Management
+ Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Salesforce team, fostering skill development and driving accountability to business outcomes.
+ Evaluate and manage Salesforce implementation partners and third-party application vendors to ensure alignment, value, and scalability.
Business Partnership & Solution Delivery
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, IT, and business units to gather requirements, define enterprise CRM standards, and develop scalable solutions.
+ Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements through structured planning, documentation, and solution design.
+ Champion user adoption by delivering intuitive, stakeholder-driven UI/UX and clear communication of system functionality.
Platform Governance & Optimization
+ Oversee the growth, performance, and continuous optimization of Salesforce as a core component of the integrated business application suite.
+ Design and manage scalable user access strategies (e.g., profiles, permission sets) across a user base of 1,850+ licensed users.
+ Implement rigorous quality assurance practices, including defect tracking, testing, and validation, to ensure reliable system performance
Physical Demands and Work Environment
+ The primary work environment is an office.
+ The physical demands for this position include light to moderate lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
+ Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 10%.
