    Position Description

    The Reynolds and Reynolds Company is seeking experienced In-House Counsel to support a broad spectrum of complex legal matters across the organization. We are currently hiring for two distinct positions: one focused primarily on contracting, and the other centered on employment law.Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including customer, vendor, and employment contracts.- Partner with external counsel to develop strategic legal solutions and conduct research to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.- Provide practical legal advice to business units, including sales and operations, on matters involving risk mitigation, contractual obligations, and regulatory compliance.- Translate complex legal concepts into clear guidance for individuals at all levels of the organization.- Represent the company in employment-related matters and assist in resolving various legal issues that arise during day-to-day operations.

     

    Training

    Requirements

    Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school~^~Licensed to practice law in the United States, preferably in Texas or Ohio~^~Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel within a corporate environment is preferred~^~Demonstrated strength in legal reasoning, analysis, and contract drafting~^~Proven negotiating skills and sound, balanced judgment~^~Highly adaptable, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team~^~Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all organizational levels~^~Coachable and eager to learn, with a commitment to continuous professional development
