Experience & Requirements

+ Mental Health clinician with Substance Abuse experienceExpereince in SUD treatment.

+ Experience providing services within a correctional setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a **Substance Abuse Counselor** with YesCare

Located in Lexington, KY at the Lpuisville Detention Center

+ Provide direct clinical services to the inmates of the Substance Abuse Treatment program as a "Primary Counselor."

+ As the "Primary Counselor," you will be responsible for completing initial assessments, group and individual counseling and discharge summaries in a timely manner.

+ Conduct psycho-educational modules for all program participants.

+ Evaluate inmates referred for substance abuse treatment services to determine the appropriate level of treatment and if applicable the necessary agency to provide required services.

+ Document inmate evaluation or program participation in accordance with program procedures.
