Position Summary...
Walmart Connect’s Sales Leadership team is seeking an experienced Team Lead to help scale and grow the Walmart Connect DSP Sales Specialist Team. This seasoned sales executive will own the strategy and implementation for a team of DSP Sales Specialists who carry quota for the Walmart DSP. The Sales Specialist Team is a group of expert sellers who support the Enterprise Sales Team and the Agency Sales Team by collaborating on account strategy and delivering pitches for Walmart’s “Offsite” ad products.
The ideal candidate will successfully balance sales and program management showing an ability to create structure in a complex, cross-functional organization. This candidate should be an expert in DSP, including demonstrated ability to understand industry trends, customer needs, and cross-functional collaboration with Product and Product Marketing teams. The leader should also have a demonstrated ability to thrive in an overlay environment where they have worked with other sales teams as the team will need to consult with other Walmart Connect sales leaders to understand needs and deliver against objectives. They will be students of our Walmart ecosystem and how we can better serve our customers. They will bring a solution-oriented mindset every day to build and grow world class partnerships that deliver significant business growth for Walmart Connect and our clients’ businesses. The candidate will have managed and scaled businesses in the past. Ideal candidates will have consistent management experience as well as extensive experience selling or buying cross-network online marketing solutions, particularly programmatic buys. Additionally, the candidate will have experience working within a matrix organization and leading, coaching and influencing people. Candidates must have strong consultative sales skills, a collaborative and innovative spirit and be extremely comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
What you'll do...
+ Be responsible for driving results while strategically building a structured Walmart DSP Sales Specialist team
+ Play a critical role in building, inspiring, training and managing a talented, motivated, highly consultative sales team
+ Work collaboratively with cross functional teams such as Sales Strategy and Enablement, Product Marketing, Product, and Measurement and Insights to maximize effective utilization of the DSP Sales Specialist team
+ Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development
+ Evangelize WMC with agencies, clients and at targeted events, conferences and media opportunities and champion WMC product releases internally and externally
+ Strong ability to forecast and efficiently allocate resources to drive profitable business results
What You'll Bring:
+ 3+ years hands on experience of building and capability to manage high performing teams.
+ Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships
+ Strong understanding of the advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends
+ Skilled storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to brands
+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data into narratives
+ Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
+ Proven ability to forge relationships with marketing decision makers
+ Demonstrable success as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems
+ Provide strong leadership with the ability to build, train, coach and develop a high performing team including providing coaching and mentoring to other team leads
+ Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with a strong focus on collaboration

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279/Los Angeles, California US-10988:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
