Job Description:

+ Prevent online and offline scams from platforms, by identifying and mitigating product, system, and processing vulnerabilities through verification, transparency, and advertiser knowledge initiatives.

+ Enhance advertising experience by resolving gaps stemming from gaps in process, product, infrastructure, or human reviews. Support Transparency reporting & disclosure initiatives through incorporating user feedback and supporting feature launches.

+ Support core Verification operations and regulatory compliance requirements through deep investigation, data analysis, escalation handing, documentation and fixing bugs & feature requests

Responsibilities:

+ Perform complex data analyses and deliver actionable data insights that drive decisions. Enhance operational workflows via process improvements and identify automation opportunities.

+ You will collaborate with various abuse mitigation teams on investigations to catch fraudsters, enforce our product policies, and increase friction on bad actors.

+ Write clear & concise documentation to get stakeholder alignment. Write detailed, holistic and informative documentation to draft business requirements and help develop the team's knowledge base.

Experience:

+ Experience with online scams or financial transaction fraud/dispute etc.

+ 5 years of experience working with databases, and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL, MapReduce, Hadoop)

+ Experience in one or more of the following areas: Coding (e.g., C/C++, Python, Java), Databases and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL, MapReduce, Hadoop), Statistical analysis (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS, SAS)

+ Understanding of how the Internet works economically and socially.

+ Experience with fraud risk management and investigations, Internet advertising, or e-commerce. along with working in a security and/or privacy team on data protection and user trust.

+ Have a deep understanding of online advertising and regulatory trends.

Education:

+ BA/BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related technical field.
