Job Summary

+ Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours. Monday-Friday, schedule can be either 5:30A-2P (five 8 hour shifts) or 5:30A-4P (4 days a week), candidate choice between the two options. No call requirements

+ Department: Pre-op. Some responsibilities will include prepping patients for surgery (clipping, wiping surgical sites, FSBS, weights, etc) and assisting with discharge patients (IV removal, assisting with ADLS, etc)

+ Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, North Carolina

+ Team will require new hire to complete CNAI plus skills classes, Novant will assist with this.

Qualifications

+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

+ Experience:

+ One year of relevant experience, preferred.

+ Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.

+ Licensure/Certification:

+ Completion of NAI program, required.

+ Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.

+ Medication Safety - AME, required.

+ NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.

+ Additional Skills Preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
