Fairview Range is hiring a Director of Central Mesabi Medical Foundation for our Administration team in Hibbing, MN.

The primary responsibility for this position is fundraising for the Central Mesabi Medical Foundation (CMMF), including developing and implementing planned giving campaign, annual employee/physician/donor appeal campaigns, and organizing and carrying out fundraising events. This position also has responsibility for finds in which CMMF is the fiscal sponsor. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, management competencies, communication skills, and ethical principles.

**Schedule:** This position will work 64 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8-hours on the day/evening shift. Weekends: As Needed

As the Director of Central Mesabi Medical Foundation, you will be responsible for:

+ Securing adequate donations to meet annual philanthropy goals.

+ Identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors.

+ Coordinating all gift activity ensuring timely donation deposits and donor stewardship.

+ Coordinating fund distributions and philanthropy expenditures.

+ Overseeing donor/prospect data and upholding stringent and consistent practices for confidential handling and release of information.

+ Working independently with organizational skills to prioritize tasks and to exercise judgment consistent with core values.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.

+ 3 years experience in fundraising, development, marketing, communications or related field

+ Experience in coordinating fundraising activities and donor stewardship to meet organizational fundraising goals

+ Experience in asking for charitable gifts and planning special events.

+ Experience in working with volunteer boards

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in a healthcare setting

+ Experience in publications and marketing, both in print and digitally

+ Ability and experience working with community leaders.
