VERSANT is looking for a Director, HR Operations - Talent to join their team! The Director, HR Operations - Talent will report to the VP, HR Operations and will have the responsibility of ensuring the deployment and administration of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding systems as well as ensuring the oversight for continuous improvement and operational support of the associated processes. In this role, you will effectively partner with both the Talent Acquisition and the Onboarding teams to ensure Business Requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
+ Strategize, lead and direct the Talent Management-HR Operations functions in support of strategic business goals to enhance & automate Talent Management lifecycle (including but not limited to, Talent planning, Talent Reviews, Assessments, Succession, Performance Management, Learning (LMS), Mentoring, Coaching, Recruiting, Onboarding etc.) to conform to evolving business practices
+ Lead HR process reengineering, business process modeling and recommend state-of-the-art technical opportunities to proactively leverage SAP HCM platform, AI, and other integrated technologies across the organization to improve business processes, drive efficiencies and ROI.
+ Evaluate, maintain & upgrade Talent Management systems for measuring and reporting efficiencies in Talent development, organizational performance, individual development plans, enterprise compliance rollout, and learning management lifecycle enablement.
+ Maintains awareness and knowledge of industry best practices, contemporary Talent development systems, theory, and methods, and provides suitable interpretation to Leadership and staff within the organization.
+ Serve in the capacity of Techno-Functional Program Manager and support development and maintenance of project scope/objectives through requirements gathering, goal prioritization, planning, scheduling, identification of risks, and contingency plans.
+ Prepare for system updates, rolling out new features and functionality to optimize performance and usability.
+ Ensure successful Tier 2 resolution of employee issues, meeting SLAs, and provide excellent customer service for escalated issues coming into the Talent Team
+ Acts as a liaison between the Business, Technology, Talent, and HR to ensure milestones are successfully met through oversight of project and coordination of resources.
+ Facilitate communications between the various stakeholders and collaborates with internal cross-functional teams to create Business Cases and/or Business Process models for project implementation.
+ Participates in root cause analysis to recommend product and/or process enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for both the business units and Technology.
+ Direct day-to-day activities of projects and staff in matrixed organization
+ Manages individual workload and delivers against agreed upon project milestones.
+ Plan for needed resources and funding.
+ Manage vendor relationships.
What you’ll need:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or technology
+ 5+ years of techno-functional experience in business processes and Talent Management systems OR equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 7+ years of experience with HCM related, cloud-based technologies with a thorough understanding of integration with other technologies.
Desired Characteristics:
+ Certifications in HR and/or Project Management preferred.
+ Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products, Project Management software and SAP
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills and team skills, ability to communicate well with individuals, and in group settings, ability to communicate with diverse population and people from various backgrounds.
+ Understanding of HR Processes and cross functional dependences
+ Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to prepare reports and make presentations to various groups.

+ Experience with HRIS, Cloud/SAAS implementation and maintenance.
+ Intermediate to advanced expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Eligibility Requirements:
+ Must be willing to work overtime when required
+ Must be willing to travel for work related business if necessary
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $165,000 - $185,000 (bonus and LTI eligible).
