This Opportunity
WSP is currently searching for an Intermediate Party Chief to join our Geomatics team in Merrimack, NH office. Be a part of a growing group of survey professionals managing a wide variety of internal and external projects and help our clients meet their objectives and solve their challenges.

+ Candidate can expect to be a supporting or leading role for work on a wide variety of projects including transportation, environmental, water/wastewater, commercial, residential, solid waste, and energy. From rural areas to urban areas.
+ Perform boundary & topographic surveys; engineering design surveys; GPS surveys.
+ Candidates will utilize a variety of survey instruments and other equipment to obtain measurements and perform field surveys. Candidates will also prepare notes and sketches in a clear and legible manner.
+ Candidates will ensure survey field data from each day is downloaded and provide reports and summaries for field work when needed
+ Working closely and in collaboration with a dynamic team of experienced professionals.
+ Out of the area travel, with potential of overnight stays, as projects dictate.
+ Candidates may interact with clients and the public while in the field often acting as the main point of contact in the field and need to represent WSP in a positive and professional manner.
+ Candidates may be asked to perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
+ High School diploma or GED required but ideal candidates will have obtained higher education in the field of land surveying or related field.
+ A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field of land surveying and geospatial services or an associated field.
+ General awareness of land survey principles, practices, processes, methods and techniques.
+ Must have a valid state driver’s license and must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle and Background screening.
+ Effective interpersonal and communication skills and should be detail oriented and organized
+ Ability to work independently with supervision or as part of a team to complete field tasks related to land surveying.
+ Ability to work flexible schedules conducive to project-specific needs that may extend beyond the typical work hours or work weeks.
+ Requires availability to travel out of the area, with a potential of overnight stays, as projects dictate.
+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
