    This is an as-needed/fill-in position (number of hours working depends on demand and scheduling).

     

    In this position, you will support the creation and implementation of programs focused on the prevention of work injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness.

    Key Accountabilities

    + Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.

    + Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs.

    + Collects and document appropriate program data to support the ROI process.

    + Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.

    + Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.

    + Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field required.

    + Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.

    + Personal Training certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, NETA or NSCA a plus.

    + Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing) preferred.

    + 2-3 years’ experience in corporate based health and fitness program preferred.

    + Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety, ergonomics, and proficient in exercise prescription preferred.

    + Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

     

    Compensation: $28.00/hr - $30.00/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
