    General Summary

    Provides psychiatric services to patients in the Child and Adolescent Program, and other specialized outpatient behavioral health programs as required. Assists in the review of quality, adequacy and appropriateness of resident education within the program.

     

    WellSpan Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time board certified/eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join our well-established practice in Lancaster County, PA. This well-established group is highly respected and has a large, loyal referral base.

    Position Highlights:

    + Regular clinical team group supervisions/case consults with multidisciplinary representation and additional peer clinical consult available as needed

    + An experienced, engaged, and collaborative clinical team of therapists offering various areas of expertise with individual, family and group therapies.

    + An overall connected, hard-working, supportive team who enjoys having fun and celebrating wins and each other.

    + Eclectic selection of continuing training topics that support clinical growth and competency

    + We are supported by our own access center 24/7 with crisis support, and have BH focused/trained staff within ED when needed

    + TMS treatment offered onsite

    + Opportunity for _Voluntary call -_ inpatient weekend and/or weeknight at Mt. Gretna or Ephrata Hospitals.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    + Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

    + Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

    Licenses:

    + Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

    + Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

    Courses and Training:

    + Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry. Upon Hire Required and

    + Completion of a Psychiatry residency and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Upon Hire Required and

    + Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire Required

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Teaching skills.
