We’re looking for Environmental Warehouse Technicians that will share our commitment to the environment, our customers, regulators, and our families. You will be responsible for separating and packing of hazardous material for transport and completing required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures. If you like to work in an environment where you are in constant motion with no time to get bored, this will be a great fit for you!
+ Segregate and package material for transport along with completion of required paperwork in accordance with appropriate regulations and customer policies, practices, and procedures.
+ May assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations and policies, practices, and procedures.
+ Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in procedures and policies
+ Operate fork trucks and other heavy equipment when properly trained to assist in the movement of containers to storage, treatment, and/or loading/unloading of trailers
+ Collect samples of inbound waste for laboratory analysis per internal policies, procedures, and/or protocols.
+ May maintain records for DOT and State officials as assigned
To qualify, as you will interact with customers and internal staff, Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required. By law, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred qualifications are a high school diploma or GED, the ability to operate powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift, and a knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations.
The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test and DEA background check.
