    The Associate Director, Organizational Effectiveness is responsible for developing, leading and executing engagements on enterprise-wide and cross functional talent management initiatives that enhance operating model effectiveness. The incumbent in this role will align organization effectiveness and talent management strategy to business priorities. Through knowledge and execution of universal best practices, he/she is accountable for talent and culture activation and refining talent systems to grow new strategic organizational capabilities.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Builds talent pipeline & optimizes organization effectiveness.

     

    Leads and accelerates strategic change and transformation.

     

    Drives leadership system alignment and leadership team effectiveness.

     

    Utilizes innovate Organizational Development (OD) practices to redefine modern work and enable organizational agility.

     

    Defines, builds, refines and implements progressive, industry-defining talent practices.

     

    Partners with our organization executives and Human Resources community to design, align and manage strategic talent systems and priorities to the business growth strategy.

     

    Leads & co-creates with HR/business leaders core people processes including best-in-class organizational planning and design, talent segmentation, forecasting and workforce planning, talent/skill gap assessments and reviews, performance management and calibration, succession management, career management, engagement and culture** **alignment.

     

    Develops and implements talent management plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives. Ensures talent readiness by creating mechanisms such as: Success Profiles, Talent Assessments, Leadership Investment Planning.

     

    Projects and planning will span 1-2 years and require an understanding of the multi-year growth strategy of the company.

     

    Partners with HR/business leaders to define and establish a long-term talent strategy that may include: identifying critical jobs, determining talent gaps, assessing internal/external availability and developing long term plans to bridge gaps.

     

    Identifies appropriate metrics to measure effectiveness of talent management initiatives.

     

    Designs, leads and launches enterprise-wide talent management projects: driving and conducting needs analysis, selection and develop assessments, talent plans/roadmaps, reporting and process improvement of existing programs.

     

    Administers workforce design and architecture, talent development, talent performance management, and workforce analytics.

     

    Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    Highly developed business acumen and acuity

     

    Expert knowledge and understanding of best practice Organizational Development and Effectiveness functions, processes & procedures, techniques and methodologies

     

    Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build executive level stakeholder relationships and business partnerships.

     

    Savvy influencing skills in successfully leading new/change initiatives

     

    Proven success implementing change management models and leading enterprise-wide transformation

     

    Effective communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills with proficiency in targeting diverse audiences.

     

    Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams plus other database and presentation software

     

    Proven ability to champion and ambassador our Chenmed mission, vision, values and culture

     

    Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to** **20%** **of the time

     

    Spoken and written fluency in English

     

    This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

    BA/BS degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Behavioral Science, Human Resources or a related field required** **OR** **additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis

     

    Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Behavioral Science, Behavioral Economics, Human Resources Management or related discipline preferred

     

    A minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience as an organizational effectiveness professional (or related); preferred specialization in one or more of the following areas: Behavioral Insights and Design, Organizational** **Design/Effectiveness,** **and/or Workforce Planning/Shaping, leadership assessments and effectiveness

    A minimum of 5 years HR business partner experience strongly desired

     

    SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR or similar certification a plus

     

    Proven experience successfully leading and implementing high visibility projects from ideation through implementation with strong change enablement implications; prior project management experience; internal or external consulting experience preferred

     

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future; ability to travel as needed.
