Aviation Military Analyst- UAS SME

Overview:

JHNA is seeking a talented Senior Aviation Military Analyst to support our government customer within the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) at Fort Novosel, AL. This work will provide the Aviation Capability Development and Integration Directorate (A-CDID) support for Army Capability Managers (ACMs), Reconnaissance and Attack (R/A), UAS, and Concepts Experimentation and Analysis Directorate (CEAD) Experimentation and Modernization activities.

Roles/Responsibilities:

+ Conduct experiments and scenario-based evaluations

+ Contribute to CONOPS development, force design, and capability prioritization

+ Conduct UAS capability requirements analysis (JCIDS, JUONS)

+ Lead DOTmLPF-P gap analysis for UAS systems

+ Coordinate technical inputs for UAS TADSS support

+ Analyze future upgrades for UAS systems

+ Provide fielding/integration insight into UAS requirements

+ Support UAS S&T assessments and interoperability needs

+ Participate in UAS planning and integration with stakeholders

+ Lead DOTmLPF-P and CONOPS efforts for UAS

+ Independently develop white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, and operational views.

+ Ensure deliverables meet graduate-level writing standards.

Qualifications Required:

+ An Active DoD Secret Clearance is required

+ 12+ years Army Aviation tactical experience

+ Former rated Senior Army Aviator and/or Senior Army UAS operator/maintainer.

+ 5+ years of experience in either:

+ + Conducting Army UAS capability development in CDID/ACDID

+ OR managing flight operations, scheduling, and mission execution in tactical UAS units

+ Experience in:

+ DOTmLPF-P Solutions Assessment

+ UAS Cost-Benefit Analysis

+ UAS Modeling, Simulation, Experimentation

+ UAS Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
