    Job Description:

    Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Mid System Administrator** to join our team!

    What You'll Be Doing:

    + Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.

    + Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.

    + Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.

    + Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.

    + Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.

    + Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.

    + Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    + CompTIA Security+ CE (IAT Level II) – Baseline DoD IA certification for system administrators.

    + RHCSA – Core Linux system administration certification.

    + Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories.

    + Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.

    + Bachelor's (or equivalent) with typically 2+ years of experience, or a Master's with typically 0+ years of experience.

    + Must possess TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly.

    What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

    + AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate – Validates capability to manage workloads on AWS.

    + Azure Security Engineer Associate – Strengthens skills in securing Azure identities and resources.

    + CKA – Confirms ability to install, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters.

    + Azure Administrator Associate or MCSE: Windows Server – Credential for managing Windows and Azure server environments

    Security Clearance Requirement:

    An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​
