ABOUT JOHN JAY COLLEGE
John Jay College of Criminal Justice is a senior college of the City University of New York (CUNY) and an internationally recognized leader in educating for justice. Led by President Karol V. POSITION** **OVERVIEW
+ Manage the logistics and operations of all aspects of the recruitment and admissions processes for the graduate programs
+ Travel as needed to recruit prospective graduate students at colleges, precincts, community and business fairs
+ Serve as a resource expert on graduate admissions and international student admissions to resolve complex issues, and assist students, faculty and administrators
+ Establish and maintain professional relationships with graduate program directors and other academic department staff to resolve graduate applicant issues and advise on policies and procedures.
+ Document and maintain policies and produce and maintain staff training manual
+ Prepares analytical and statistical reports for management
+ Counsel prospective graduate and international students on program options, requirements, policies, and procedures as well as participate in off-campus and on-campus recruitment events.
+ Engage in yield activities and initiatives of admitted graduate and international students to positively affect enrollment.
+ Supervises up to 4 staff including any student workers
+ Performs related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Previous higher education or relevant experience
+ Valid driver's license

- Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness of enrollment, recruitment, and marketing strategies

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$82,928
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 6.09% with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
