The PCA (uncertified, certified, unlicensed, or licensed) works in a collaborative environment at Nazareth Hospital to provide safe, quality health care services & / or assistance to patients under the supervision & direction of a registered nurse or other designated health care professional in accordance with level of experience, education, policies & procedures.
3 Holy Family. Heart failure/Telemetry unit. We are a 38 bed telemetry unit providing excellent care to our cardiac patients. We are a certified Heart Failure unit and specialize in the Heart failure population
What You Will Do:** ** ** **
+ Employment Type/Shift: PT days
+ Entry level position that provides training to function in an assistive role to the licensed nurse or other colleagues by performing patient care Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as delegated by the nurse.
+ Participates in continuous surveillance, rounding or monitoring for safety.
+ Offer compassion & patience as an essential member of the healthcare team (e.g., answering call lights, patient encouragement / greeting, stock / retrieve supplies or equipment, room turnover, mobilize patients, repositioning, transporting, discharge coordination).
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED.
