    Citibank, N.A. seeks an Infrastructure Senior Tech Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

     

    Duties: Maintain SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems. Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end. Define and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes. Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross training to other peers and team members. Work with complex data sets and integrate with MSQQL databases to produce reports. Ensure strategy, implementation, and testing for backup and recovery of databases. Work with vendor teams to ensure adherence to Citi standards and compliance for Database Vulnerability threat management. Ensure the key performance indicators for Vulnerability Threat Management are within the Citi defined risk acceptance thresholds. Identify the scope for process automation and work with automation teams to create solutions. Provide updates to management around Vulnerability and Threat management with insight to compliance based on the Citi risk controls metrics. Represent embedded controls by ensuring compliance around deployment, software development, change management, and configuration management for database as a service. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

     

    Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems Security, Information Technology, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related IT occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include: Conducting Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using a native monitoring tool including OEM and oracle performance analyzer; Maintaining databases using expertise around backups, restores, and High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options; Using Power BI for comprehensive data analysis and insightful effort assessments; Using Splunk for log analysis and to extract valuable insights from complex data sets; Documenting procedural modifications and enhancements through Confluence, ensuring clear and concise communication of process changes; and Crafting intricate data models for analytical purposes using Excel, to enable streamlined and in-depth analysis. 40 hrs./wk.
