We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer 2 to join our Humana Data & Analytics team – BI (Business Intelligence) team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer II to join our Humana Data & Analytics team – BI (Business Intelligence) team. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI reports using Microsoft SQL Server to connect actions to data sources to reduce manual processes.

This Business Intelligence Engineer II position requires the ability to work independently, gather and analyze requirements from business partners and deliver high-quality Business Intelligence solutions.

**Key Responsibilities** :

+ Develop, Implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using multiple database sources

+ Gather and analyze business requirements from various stakeholders to design effective solutions

+ Optimize and maintain SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency

+ Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and other business intelligence tools

+ Document processes, technical designs, and report configurations

Required Qualifications

+ Minimum 4 years of technical experience in SQL programming language

+ Must be able and willing to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours

+ Minimum 1 year of experience with Power BI or with a similar data visualization, reporting, or dashboard tool

+ Demonstrated experience utilizing reporting solutions to solve business or data issues

+ Experience working with Medicaid data

+ Strong written and verbal communication

Work-At-Home Requirements

+ At minimum, a download speed of 25 mbps and an upload speed of 10 mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

+ Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

+ Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided with a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

+ Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

+ Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field

+ Experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or related software tools

+ Experience working with multiple data sources

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$66,800 - $91,100 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
